Arts Award
Johnson's Birthplace is a small, friendly historic house and Museum. We offer a range of activities and opportunities to help support Arts Award at all levels for young people from 0 – 25. The Museum is open every day and is free to visit, with trails and family activity guidebooks available to help to complete the Discover and Explore awards.
Our events programme includes hands-on creative activities, exhibitions, talk and workshops, as well as a weekly creative reading club ‘
Birthplace Bookworms’.
We also offer volunteering opportunities and a limited number of work experience placements
