The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum is situated in the heart of the beautiful Cathedral City of Lichfield in Staffordshire.

 

The disabled parking on the Market Square and Bird Street has been suspended as part of the pedestrianisation trial; our closest is now in the Bird Street car park.


Road links

Easy access from the A38, A5, M42, M40, M6, M1 and M5.

Public Transport

There are two train stations in Lichfield (Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley). Lichfield is a 35 minute journey from Birmingham New Street and under 2 hours from London Euston.
